Confined Space Rescue

• All members of the Haz-Mat Team are cross-trained as Confined Space Rescue Technicians.

• The Haz-Mat Team provides Confined Space Rescue Services to the fourteen communities which make up the Chagrin / Southeast Council of Governments.

• Members receive twenty-four hours of initial training and maintain their skill through quarterly training sessions.

• Specialized Equipment such as:

  • SKED Stretchers

  • LSP Half-Back

  • Supplied Air Respirators with manifold

  • Rescue Tripod with 4:1 Rope Systems

  • Electric Ventilation Fans and Hoses

  • Four Gas Meters with Pumps

  • Explosion Proof Radios and Lighting

  • Underground Radio Repeater System

  • Confined Space Rescue Trailer

  • Rope Rescue Equipment
